This blog provides the answer to the burning question of the day- why go plastic bag free ? Having done that it tells you how to do it – well it will try . Better still it tells you who else is doing it in the small Yorkshire town of Huddersfield.
It promotes bag free activities in the above mentioned small town.
The aim is to provide a forum so that bag free groups can act in unison.

We are attending Honley Show on June 14th and hope to have compostable carrier bags available for this date.
I would like to introduce our company to you.
Comp Bio Products Ltd is a young company based in Wells Somerset. We have recently launched Compi-Sax. Compi-Sax are compostable bags meeting the Din Certo EN13432 certification.
Our bags are manufactured in the UK, thus reducing the carbon footprint.
We currently stock 7 lt and 30 lt bags, we have conducted extensive research regarding the availability and pricing, we believe that we can supply at competitive prices to both local retailers and direct to home users
We are trying to work with local authorities to provide a more cost effective product for kerbside food waste collections enabling these savings to be passed on to retailers and general public.
A high proportion of the general public do not purchase compostable liners due to the excessive costs. We are also trying to work with town groups campaigning for plastic bag free towns.
We would be grateful if you would consider us as a recommended supplier for compostable bags and add a link to your website
we will have compostable carrier bags available mid June and we are currently sourcing other compostable products
